This is a container page for a short audio file about the "25 Problems" suite of web pages.
I've been re-recording this information and I'll do it again just about as soon as I can. My original intention with audio files was to just have something that blind users (or people with low vision) could listen to.... Last updated on March 28, 2025.
I live at 25 St. Dennis Drive, across from the former Ontario Science Centre site and these pages tend to... focus on the immediate area where David Gerofsky has floated a plan to build a 52-storey condominium across the street from the OSC, and Tenblock wants to demolish 48 Grenoble Dr... And now we have Stanford Homes horning in on the apartment building across from 48 Grenoble at 1 Deauville Lane.
You may also play back or save my second comment that I made during the May 3, 2023 "virtual public consultation" about the proposal for four skyscraper condos at #155 St. Dennis Drive (a.k.a. the "Flemingdon golf course") a proposal which was later denied and which was appealed to the Land Tribunal. . In that one I mentioned how (1) during the “consultation” the link to the “consultation” had been shut down on the local city councillor's personal web pages, (2) that there was no link to the developer's materials as posted to the “Application Information Centre”, and (3) the area's proximity to the Canadian Pacific Railway line. The C.P.R. had been a huge concern at the March 27, 2023 'planning townhall' (sic - whatever that meant) at Don Mills Collegiate. There must have been 200 people at that one so did they all die suddenly, or...???
I have yet to see a single web page or notes about it; I think the Ford government’s Bill 185 received royal assent on June 1st and has to represent a new low in legal jargonese. My own page about the A.I.C. is here. I don't think the local councillor has one on his web pages!
