The Toronto Star ran a story that had Chiara Padovani suggesting the Frances Nunziata campaign played things close in the 2022 municipal election, beating her by a narrow margin.

It seems to me that other councillors - for example Jon Burnside has a very partisan, personal "web page" that masquerades as community information - are toeing the privacy line. Then again on at least one of her web pages, Chiara Padovani herself was collecting information from tenants who wanted to support her advocacy efforts... she ask(s) for stuff like name, address, and unit number (!) in the abscence of any stated privacy policy.
